Brantford Arts BlockFamily Day Weekend Festivities at the Brantford Arts Block! First start your weekend on Feb 13th with a Valentine's Sale! Similar to our Santa Sale in December, a variety of vendors will be selling their wares from 11-5pm. Items include, jewellery, soaps, candles, chocolates, clothing and more! Then on Feb 14th, 12-5pm, bring the kids in for jewellery making and sewing workshops in our gallery space. On Feb 15th, also 12-5pm, the whole family can participate in a drum circle and have some fun with Improv. Each workshop is only $2. Spend some time with your family at the Brantford Arts Block! Brantford Arts BlockLocal band the Bunny Huggers (formerly known as Rockoli) will play at the Brantford Arts Block on February 20th. The members of the band originally hail from the US but now call Brantford 'home'. This rock show is geared specifically to families and young children and promises to engage and entertain all that come. The event will begin with a small musical instrument making workshop, where parents and kids can make shakers and horns to play along with the bands. Father/son duo 'Like Father Like Son' will open for the Bunny Huggers for each performance. There are two opportunities to catch this one-of-a-kind show at 1pm and 3pm. Tickets are available at the door for $3 per person or $10 for groups of four people. The Brantford Arts Block is a community arts organization founded in 2006 to advocate and create arts-based neighbourhood revitalization, both in Brantford’s downtown and area-wide.
